Namitha shows the way

When she packed her bags and scooted to Tamil many heroines in Tollywood almost everyone sniggered at her.
They said that the tall and shapely actress from Surat, who had done a few in movies in Telugu, was throwing in the towel pretty easily. Their reckoning was that going to Tamil wouldn't save an actress like her.
But as it happens, Namitha seems to have had the last laugh. So much so that some top heroines are now following suit.
Namitha is now certainly one of the hot things in Tamil films. She is said to have had films with some of the top stars there. What more she seems to have plenty more in the pipeline.
Her ravishing looks and pointed glamour seem to have won over the Tamil audiences.
Taking a cue from her success, other heroines who were busy in Telgu have now gone to Tamilnadu.
Among the Telugu heroines who have washed ashore to the neighborhood shores are Shriya, Genelia and Asin.
These three heroines are still doing in films in Telugu. But most of their focus is in Tamil.
Shriya is doing the Tamil remake of Varsham and Genelia is doing a film with Vijay. Asin is also involved in a couple of interesting projects.
Like Namitha, these heroines too are not reluctant for skin show.
If they also succeed, perhaps more will follow.
