As the Tamil Nadu state is bracing itself to face the Assembly elections in May, Actress Namitha who has acted in many leading heroes of Tamil including Vijay and Ajith has expressed her wish to join a prominent political party in Tamil Nadu.

Namitha has sent a letter to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and AIADMK Supremo J.Jayalalitha, expressing her wish to join the party and serve as a faithful cadre.

In the letter the actress who made her Tamil debut in 'Engal Anna', playing the heroine to actor and Tamil Nadu opposition leader Vijayakanth, has stated that she has been inspired by CM Jayalalitha's leadership and administration skills and stated that her leadership is capable of placing Tamil Nadu as the most prominent state in India.

Senior actress C.R.Saraswathi and actress Vindhya are members of ADMK and both of them have been campaigning for the party's victory in the upcoming elections. We will have to wait for the party leader's decision to see whether Namitha joins the list of star campaigners of the party.
