Actress Namitha had entered Tamil films with Vijayakanth starrer Engal Anna, and was seen opposite Thala Ajith in Billa and Thalapathy Vijay in Azhagiya Tamizh Magan and was later seen in several hit movies like Aei starring Sarathkumar, Maha Nadigan with Sathyaraj and many more movies.
The actress was one of the contestants of the first season of Bigg Boss Tamil game show hosted by Kamal Haasan and her hygiene conscious activities had been popular during the first season. The actress had been away from films for quite sometime after Bigg Boss.
Namitha got married to actor Veera who was her co-star in the movie Miya immediately after her exit from Bigg Boss and this was a surprise for her fans.
