Election squad searches Namitha's car!

Whenever elections are announced in the country, it becomes common for flying squads setup by the election commission of India to conduct extensive searches all over the nation to find if there any illegal transactions targeted at transferring money for votes. Flying squads have been involved in search operations for the past three days across Tamilnadu.
Crores of unaccounted money and other valuables including jewels were seized by the flying squads in various places of the state. In such a situation, the flying squad stopped a luxury car in which actress Namitha and her husband Veera, along with their friends were travelling, and wanted to search the car, for which the actress initially opposed.
However after the team revealed that they were following the orders of Election commission of India, Namitha accepted for the search, and the flying squad checked into the vehicle and found that there were no huge quantity of cash or valuables in the car, and let her car go. This news that Namitha's car was searched by EC officials has turned viral.
