Gopika and Krishna
Just about the right name fit that you can hope in our times. And that is what may be in the minds of those behind the film, which is going to figure Balakrishna and Gopika.
For you can find little else to combine Balakrishna and Gopika. He is over 40 and looks increasingly stale. She is new, innocent and fresh in every sequence.
But Gopika is slowly emerging as the dark horse in Tollywood.
After a slow and sedate start in Naa Autograph, she seems to have come to her own in Leta Manasula. Her nuances as the wife of a two-timing husband are just about right.
Gopika is currently doing 4 The People and another film with Rajendra Prasad in Telugu. For a Malayali who started in an inhibited manner, Gopika has indeed come a long way.
She is just in her teens, but mature beyond her age.
Otherwise why would anybody want to cast her with Balakrishna?
