Name confirmed, but not heroine

After many wild guesses from the media, it has now been officially announced that Mahesh Babu next film will be titled Pokiri.

Directed by Puri Jagannadh, the film is being presented by Manjuala, Mahesh's sister.

Though the name has been confirmed, the film's heroine is yet to be. The needle of choice had pointed towards Ayesha Takia. But nothing is certain.

Mani Sharma is the music director and the film will go on to the floors by middle of October.

This will be an important film for Mahesh as he wants to carry forward the momentum from Athadu's success.
