The remake of 'Sattam Oru Iruttarai' has undergone a name change. The project being directed by debutant Sneha Britto has been rechristened as 'Thozhan'.

Starring Thaman Kumar, Bindu Madhavi, Piaa Bajpai and Reemma Sen in lead roles, the movie is inspired by the 1980s hit 'Sattam Oru Iruttarai', directed by Vijay's father S A Chandrasekaran.

'Thozhan' is being produced by Vijay and the 'Ilaya Thalapathi' visited the sets of the movie a few days ago. His visit, according to Sneha Britto, energised the cast and crew of the movie.

Meanwhile, the 'Thozhan' team is planning to go to Thailand in September to can some important scenes and a couple of songs. Plans are on to release the movie by the end of this year.
