Seeman is one of the vociferous supporters of separate nation for the Eelam Tamils of Sri Lanka. He is also a well known Tamil nationalist.
Recently Namal Rajapakse, the son of Sri Lanka's former president Mahinta Rajapakse had welcomed the announcement of Superstar Rajinikanth that he is going to contest the assembly elections in Tamil Nadu in the year 2021.
Seeman is one of the staunch critic of Rajini's political ambition as the former feels that since the latter is not a Tamil by birth he cannot rule the Tamils.
In one of his recent interviews Seeman had said Namal wishing Rajini for his political entry raises doubts. He had also asked why Namal did not wish any one else who have recently entered the political foray in TN.
To this Namal has replied in Twitter. He has accused that Seeman has never really cared about Tami community and he has always used Tamils issues to advance his political agenda and ambitions.
Mr. Seeman has never actually cared about #SriLanka's Tamil community. He has always used issues of the Tamil people to advance his own political agenda and ambitions. #India TamilNadu @PTTVOnlineNews pic.twitter.com/Ltzn2QHUiK
