'Nakshatram', starring Sundeep Kishan, Sai Dharam Tej, Tanish, Regina, Pragya Jaiswal and Prakash Raj, will be hitting the screens on August 4th. It will clash with Sukumar-produced 'Darshakudu' on that day.

Certified with 'U/A', the film got appreciation from the Censor board's members, as per the makers.

"Cops have the qualities of Lord Hanuman. They look different compared to the rest of us (because of the uniform). Like Hanuman, they too are service-oriented and come with a lot of courage. But why do we get scared on sighting them even if we didn't do any wrong? The film drives home the message that the way we see them should change. Any law and order issue is ultimately resolved by cops. 'Nakshatram' has as plot an international issue," director Krishna Vamsi says.

Music is by Bheems. Dialogues are by Thota Prasad, Padma Sri and Kiran Thatavarthi. Lyrics are by Anantha Sriram and Kasarla Shyam.
