Barry Osborne to team up with Kamal!

Barry Osborne, popular producer from Hollywood known to make films like Lord of the Rings and Face Off has reportedly confirmed that he will he will be working with Kamal Haasan to make a film. The director has been keen on the idea ever since watching the star's work in Viswaroopam.

National cinema resides in South: Kamal

"Sixty-five to 70 per cent of films in India are south films. National cinema resides in the south. It's not bragging, it's a statement of fact," said Kamal Haasan in Chennai on Tuesday.

DNR to release big in Karnataka, Kerala

Dhenikaina Ready will hit the marquee in 70 theatres each in the States of Kerala and Karnataka. While in Kerala, the film will be released as Endhinum Ready, the Telugu version in Karnataka will be released in style, with Bengaluru's share alone pegged at 20 theatres. (The Malayalam version will be released on Oct 26, while the Telugu version in AP and Karnataka will be released on Oct 24).

The stage is set for the clash of titans. In two consecutive days, two highly prized films are going to hit the marquee. Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu on Oct 18 and Damarukam on Oct 19, are poised to set the box office on fire.
