The stage is all set for the shooting of K Raghavendra Rao's Shiridi Sai. Nagarjuna will now transform into the divine personality, Sri Sai Baba of Shirdi, who is revered by millions of devotees across the world. Announcing the same, and releasing the first look of the film, the makers averred that the film will be a musical hit. KRR, Nag and MM Keeravani are teaming up to create a film on the legend of Shiridi Sai and they are confident of making nothing less than a masterpiece.
Produced by industrialist A. Mahesh Reddy, the film is made on Sai Krupa Entertainments Pvt. Ltd. The producer is a Sai devotee himself. Speaking about the movie, Nag said that he felt very blessed to portray Shirdi Sai on screen. "I have played great devotees like Annamayya and Sri Ramadasu in the past. I am now playing the divine incarnation Shridi Sai, for which I feel blessed. This film will become an unforgettable one in my career. This is yet another great film that is being made by K Raghavendra Rao. The producer is making this movie with rich taste", the Yuvasamrat said.
The shooting will commence from Feb. 2 in a remote village in the State of Karnataka. The story is lent by Bhakta Suresh D, while the story assistance is by Ponduri Hanumantha Rao. Photography is by S Gopal Reddy. Lyrics are by Suddala Ashokteja, Chandrabose, Ramajogayya Sastry, Veda Vyas and Sattipandu. Art is by Bhaskara Raju and Srikanth.
KRR has sprung up a surprise by choosing Paruchuri Brothers as the dialogue-writers.
