He is just rounding up a film in which he oozes glamour and style.

Guess what's he up next? Well, he will be pouring piety and bhakthi.

Two extreme ends.

And Nags is comfortable doing both.

Nags has officially announced that he is indeed doing Bhakta Ramadasu that will be produced Konda Krishnamaraju, who recently made Vijayendra Varma.

Nags is naturally happy to do such a film.

"It is great role," he says matter of factly and points out that his family liked the whole idea very much.

K Raghavendra Rao, who had earlier played Nagarjuna in Annamayya, will of course direct the film.

JK Bharavi, who penned the story and dialogues for Annamaya, is also into this. He is said to have done painstaking research on the life and times of Bhakta Ramadasu. He visited places like Nelakondapalli, the birthplace of Ramadasu, and Bhadrachalam where he got his eponymous name.

The film will get under way in July and may release at the fag end of this year.

M M Keeravani, who won a National Award for Annamaya, will wield the baton here
too.

For Nags, another journey of self-exploration has just begun.
