One of the highly reputed director, literary personality and columnist Nagathihalli Chandrasekhar is perturbed on several issues and the injustice he meted out in the Aindrita Ray case is still bothering him. The creativity of this director is affected as none came to his rescue in the slapping episode and sexual abuse allegation.

”The former KFCC President Dr Jayamala took a feministic stand, Kannada Cinema Artists Association President Ambarish, who was brought up by a doyen director SR Puttanna Kanagal did not understand the director and from my own fraternity Directors Association SV Rajendra Singh Babu being in Bangalore told that he is in New Delhi and abstained from the meeting”, he laments.

”I don’t have the producer problem or making scripts. The discipline and dedication what I emphasized was questioned. I faced depression”, admits Nagathihalli Chandrasekhar speaking to IndiaGlitz after months of ‘Slap Gate’ episode. “Questioning late coming and asking for discipline made me go down”, says Nagathihalli Chandrasekhar who has proved his talent in some of brilliant films such as Undu Hodha Kondu Hodha, Baa Nalle Madhu Chandrake, Kotreshi Kanasu, America America, Nanna Preethiya Huduga, Mathad Mathad Mallige, Amrutha Dhaare, Olave Jeevana Lekkachara and other films in Kannada and heightened the standards of Kannada films.

”With all such worries in me I am not able to convince myself on my scripts. As of now I am taking a children program on Gandhi Jayanthi Day based on the concept of ‘Gandhi Grama’. After that I am going to Baharain on invitation from Kannada Koota”, he stated.
