Akkineni Nagarjuna's 'Wild Dog' is all set to clash with 'Sulthan' the coming Friday (April 2). 'Sulthan', starring Karthi, will release simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil. During the making of 'Oopiri', which saw the coming together of the Nag-Karthi duo, the two actors shared a strong rapport and came to see each other as brothers.
During the pre-release event of 'Wild Dog' on Sunday evening, the 'Manmadhudu 2' actor made it a point to make a reference to 'Sulthan' and wished Karthi. "Although our movies are releasing on the same day, I wish my 'thammudu' Karthi a big hit," Nag said.
'Sulthan', starring Rashmika Mandanna as the heroine, is an action-cum-family drama where one hundred violent men are handled in a novel way by the hero. On the other hand, 'Wild Dog' is in a different zone. It's touted to be a raw and realistic action thriller revolving around an NIA team investigating terror plots. Nag has teamed up with Ahishor Solomon, the director, for the movie. Incidentally, Solomon was a co-writer for 'Oopiri', the Nag-Karthi starrer.
The other day, Gopichand's 'Seetimaarr' was postponed, thereby helping 'Sulthan' secure a wide release in the Telugu States.
