Sensational actress Samantha is one of the busiest stars in Indian cinema. The leading heroine is often making the headlines since she announced separation from her ex-husband Naga Chaitanya on October 2. While Samantha has spoken about her separation on several occasions, Naga Chaitanya has decided to remain quiet publicly until recently.

Now, Naga Chaitanya's father and Tollywood star actor Nagarjuna has reportedly opened up in this regard in a recent interview. Nagarjuna is said to have stated that Samantha is the one who wanted divorce first and she applied for it. He added, "Naga Chaitanya accepted her decision but he was much worried about me, what I would think and what would happen to family's reputation."

The ever green star allegedly added "Naga Chaitanya consoled me very much as he thought I will be worried. They both have been together for 4 years in the marriage life but no problem like this came between them. Both were so close and I don't know how it came down to this decision. They even celebrated 2021's New Year together, it seems that the problems have arisen after that,".

Meanwhile, Naga Chaitanya opened about the split publicly for the first time two weeks ago during a press meet for his recent release 'Bangarraju'.  Chai said, "It is ok to be separated. That is a mutual decision made for their individual happiness. If she is happy, then I am happy. So Divorce is the best decision in such a situation."
