Panja Vaisshnav Tej has become the talk of the town. His 'Uppena' is running successfully all over.

The news is that the actor has bagged a new project, which will be produced by Akkineni Nagarjuna. The senior actor-producer will be bankrolling the film under his Manam Entertainments. To be directed by a debutant, the film is expected to be distinct.

This is likely to be the Mega hero's third film. His second project was shot last year. Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, the village-based drama stars Rakul Preet Singh as a protagonist. The film's release date is yet to be announced.

Besides Tej, 'Uppena' has catapulted Krithi Shetty, too, to fame. The young actress has bagged Ram Pothineni's Telugu-Tamil bilingual. It is directed by Linguswamy.
