'The Ghost' is slated to hit the screens on October 5. On Saturday, at an event, actor Nagarjuna and director Praveen Sattaru spoke at length about the movie.
Speaking on the occasion, Nagarjuna said, "This project happened because Suniel Narang wanted his father's name (Naraynadas Narang) to be there on a film poster as a producer. He has also produced Naga Chaitanya's 'Love Story' before. Sharrath Maraar is a passionate producer. As for Praveen Sattaru, he has made a stylish action drama. 'The Ghost' is high on emotion, there is a sister emotion, a girl child emotion, and many other elements. The highlight is going to be the way Sattaru has shot the action sequences. What you have seen in the first visual is just a glimpse. I had to get trained in action to do the fights. This is the first time that I have done this sort of action. I am very happy with the result. Sonal Chauhan, the leading lady, has done action alongside me."
Praveen Sattaru said that a lot of waiting and hard work went into making the movie due to the pandemic. "What the audience sees on the screen is what matters. The producers, in this regard, gave their best shot. I was in Standard VII when 'Shiva' was released. It was an iconic movie. I grew up watching him, his style, and his personality. Action is my favourite genre. And casting Nag garu in a slick actioner has been a one-of-its-kind experience. It's an honour to have got to work with him."
