P Ravinder Reddy, a die-hard senior fan of the Akkinenis, breathed his last on Saturday in Hyderabad due to cancer. He was 58 and survived by wife and two children.
Akkineni Nagarjuna has mourned his death, describing him as a friend. "Ravinder reddy has been a good friend and a pillar of support to my family, he was a kind and a giving human being ..we will miss you dear Ravinder reddy," the 'DevaDas' actor tweeted.
The deceased fan had been a huge fan of ANR since the days of 'Premabhisekam'. ANR was fond of Reddy and invited him for the launch event of Nagarjuna's debut film 'Vikram'. It was then that Reddy was appointed as the President of Akkineni fans association. Since then, Reddy conducted several philanthropic activities under the aegis of different fans associations of the Akkinenis.
