Nagarjuna and Karthi's multi-starrer, which is going to be directed by Vamsi Paidipally, has been formally launched at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. Nagarjuna, Karthi, Akhil, Naga Chaitanya,PVP, Vamsi Paidipally, Amala etc attended the event.
Amala clapped for the first shot, PVP's wife Smt.Jhansi Sureddy switched on the camera and Vamsi Paidipally's wife Malini directed it.Shruti Haasan is going to play the leading lady in this film and Jayasudha will play a key role.
This bilingual film in Telugu and Tamil be grandly launched in Chennai on February 28th. The regular shooting of the film starts on March 16th and will be completed by the end of June. The film will be shot in Hyderabad, Chennai and foreign locations.
Nagarjuna said, "I was very excited when Vamsi narrated this story and I was very curious to join the shooting. This is the best story I've heard in recent times. Definitely, it will be a very different multi-starrer. PVP has planned the film in a high level. I am very happy to act in this bilingual film".
Karthi said, "All my Tamil films were successful in Telugu. I am very happy that I am going to work with Nagarjuna and PVP for my first Telugu movie, which is also going to be produced in Tamil. I am confident that this film will be loved by Telugu and Tamil audiences".
Vamsi Paidipally said "I feel that Nagarjuna and Karthi agreeing to act in this film itself is a big success. Nagarjuna and Karthi are 100% apt for this film. This is my first film with Nagarjuna and I am also happy that I am directing Karthi's first Telugu film. I thank PVP for introducing me as a director in Tamil with this film "
'Malli Malli Idhi Rani Roju' fame Gopi Sundar will compose the music for this film and P.S.Vinod is the cinematographer. Abburi Ravi will pen the dialogues.
