They suddenly announced that they have decided to end their marriage and get separated on October 2, 2021. Both the celebrities have been making the headlines since the split.

While Samantha has spoken about her separation on several occasions, Naga Chaitanya and his family remained silent publicly on this issue. On the day the couple announced their separation, Naga Chaitanya's father Nagarjuna reacted on social media. The Tollywood superstar actor never opened up about it on the media after then but some news portals recently reported that Nagarjuna talked about the reason for their split.

Now, Nagarjuna has taken to his Twitter page to deny that he hasn't given out any statement to the channels and asked the media friends to refrain from publishing rumours. His tweet read, "The news in social media and electronic media quoting my statement about Samantha & Nagachaitanya is completely false and absolute nonsense!! I request media friends to please refrain from posting rumours as news. #GiveNewsNot Rumours (sic)."
