Nagarjuna, the renowned actor, found himself in the news recently for an unfortunate incident involving his bodyguard and a differently-abled fan in Mumbai. The bodyguard's excessive enthusiasm while trying to manage the crowd resulted in him unintentionally pushing the fan out of the way. Nagarjuna, taking full responsibility for the incident, promptly issued a sincere apology on X (formerly Twitter) to address the situation.
A video shared by a paparazzi photographer captured Nagarjuna interacting with fans at the Mumbai airport. While posing for photos with one fan, the photographers highlighted that this particular fan was the one who had been shoved by the bodyguard, emphasizing that it was not the fan's fault. After posing for pictures with other fans, Nagarjuna went out of his way to meet the fan again. He hugged the fan and assured him, in his native language, that it was not his fault but their mistake, displaying empathy and understanding, before proceeding with his commitments.
The incident caught the attention of paparazzi photographer Viral Bhayani, who questioned the state of humanity in a video shared on social media. The video showed Nagarjuna walking through the airport while his bodyguards worked to keep fans from touching him. Regrettably, one fan was inadvertently pushed a little too forcefully, causing a near loss of balance. Nagarjuna, upon discovering the incident, expressed his dismay and claimed that he had not witnessed it at the time. He immediately addressed the issue, stating that it should not have happened and apologizing to the gentleman involved. He also made a commitment to take necessary precautions to ensure that such incidents are avoided in the future.
Currently, Nagarjuna is occupied with the shooting of Sekhar Kammula’s film "Kubera," alongside esteemed actors Dhanush, Rashmika Mandanna, and Jim Sarbh. The film, which will be bilingual, marks Dhanush's debut in Telugu. Recently, the team concluded a shooting schedule in Mumbai. Nagarjuna's first look from the film was released in May, revealing him in a blue shirt, dark trousers, and sporting glasses, exuding a calm yet unsettling aura befitting his character.
