Nagarjuna Defends Land Ownership Amidst N-Convention Demolition

  • IndiaGlitz, [Monday,August 26 2024]

Actor-producer Nagarjuna has vehemently denied allegations of land encroachment surrounding the recent demolition of his N-Convention center in Madhapur, Hyderabad. The venue was razed on Saturday morning by the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Assets Monitoring and Protection (HYDRA) authorities, who claimed it was built on illegally occupied land.

However, Nagarjuna has steadfastly maintained that the land is legally owned and documented. In a social media post, he clarified, I want to reiterate that the land on which N-Convention has been built is a Patta Documented land. Not even one cent of the land beyond that has been encroached upon.

To substantiate his claim, Nagarjuna referenced a 2014 judgment by a Special Court under the AP Land Grabbing (prohibition) Act, which unequivocally declared that no encroachment had taken place in Tummidikunta Lake. He also noted that the matter is currently under legal proceedings in the High Court.

While acknowledging that he will abide by the final court ruling, Nagarjuna urged his fans and well-wishers to refrain from spreading rumors or misinformation about the incident. He emphasized that the truth will be established through the legal process.

In addition to the legal evidence, Nagarjuna has also expressed his deep disappointment over the demolition, stating that it has caused significant inconvenience and financial loss to his business and employees. He has called for a fair and impartial investigation into the matter, and has vowed to continue fighting for his rights.

Here is Nagarjuna's full text of post on social media.

Dear all, fans and well-wishers,

News about celebrities can often be exaggerated and speculated for effect.I would like to reiterate that the land on which N-convention has been built is a Patta Documented land. Not even one cent of the land beyond that has been encroached upon.

The Special Court of AP Land Grabbing (Prohibition) Act has given a judgment passing an order Sr.3943/2011 on 24-02- 2014 saying no encroachment has happened in Tummidikunta Lake.

Now the formal argument is already presented in front of the esteemed High Court. I will abide by the law of the land and judgment. Until then, I sincerely request you not to indulge in speculation, any sort of rumors, misrepresentation of facts and deviations.
