Naganna for PRO recognition, it is high time

The cinema PROs of Kannada filmdom is unsung heroes. It is high time the government of Karnataka recognize their sincere work and contribution to Kannada cinema industry felt the noted director Naganna.

Son of veteran producer R Lakshman, Naganna made use of the time to express his wish. All the Kannada cinema PROs were present at Sri Raghavendra Chitravani awards event. Naganna with film industry PRO Ananthu already discussed a round on this issue with MLC and former minister HM Revenna. He got a positive reply to his inquiry. A letter from Karnataka Film Chamber is required to pass on the list for recognition of PROs.

KFCC President Sa Ra Govindu present on the occasion nodded his head to prepare a letter in support of Kannada cinema PROs.

Drawing his attention on Runa' (debt) Naganna pointed that Sri Raghavendra Chitravani is doing just that for what it had got from the industry.

Naganna looking at his Guru Hamsalekha narrated an episode of his first film Samrat'. For a first time director Hamsalekha used to get up at 4 am to prepare tunes. That is dedication, I salute for it even today he mentioned.
