Akash is playing the hero in 'Nagamani' directed by Viswaprasad and produced by B Satyanarayana on the banner of Naga Satya pictures. Kausalya is playing the heroine in this movie.

The muhurat shot was picturised with producer B Satyanarayana switching on the camera, while Art Film Chamber president Amrishkumar giving the clap under the honorary direction of Sangisetty Dasaratha. Later speaking to the press, hero akash says, the film would be on the lines of 'Jagadeka Veerudu Atiloka Sundari'. This is a socio fantasy film. I am playing the role of an engineering college student.

Kausalya says, 'This is my debut film in Telugu, though I faced the camera for many Tamil and Kannada films earlier.'

Director Viswa Prasad says, 'One Nagakanya visits the earth and accidentally loses her Nagamani. While searching for it, she meets the hero. The story takes so many twists after that. The film has good entertainment values, romance and good comedy.' Producer Satyanarayana says, We are planning to wrap up the shooting in three schedules. Our idea is to release the film in February.'
