It has been reported by sections of media that Naga Shourya's movie with Avasalara Srinivas may have been shelved after the failure of the actor's 'Aswathama'. It turns out that there is no truth in the reports.

Vivek Kuchibotla, who is associated with the film on the production side, today said, "The project is 50% done and rest to be shot will be completed in USA. We are waiting for visas. The project is very much shaping up well and rumors of it having been shelved are wrong and baseless."

The rom-com is titled 'Palana Abbayi Palana Ammayi'. After 'Oohalu Gusagusalade' and 'Jyo Achyutananda', this is Srinivas' third outing as the director.

As for Shourya, he is scheduled to shoot for a Sitara Entertainments production. The untitled project, a rom-com, will be directed by Laxmi Sowjanya, a debutante.
