In a recent interview, Naga Chaitanya provided updates on the series, stating, "We have completed my OTT series, Dhootha. All the post-production is almost done. It is in Telugu. But Amazon has a very big release plan for it. They want to do a proper nationwide streaming premiere of it. They will dub it in multiple languages.”
Excitement among fans reached new heights as Amazon Prime announced the streaming date for the web series. "Dhootha" is set to captivate audiences worldwide, with a release scheduled for December 1, 2023. The series boasts an ensemble cast featuring Prachi Desai, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Parvathy Thiruvothu, and others. Produced by Sharrath Marar under the banner of NorthStar Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., "Dhootha" is directed by the acclaimed Vikram K Kumar.
