Young sensation Naga Chaitanya might act as the great Telugu poet Sri Sri on celluloid.

Sources say that director Ramesh Varma narrated the subject to Naga Chaitanya about the legendary poet Sri Sri. Apparently Naga Chaitanya had liked the subject. Though official announcements or agreements have not been made, the director is on the look out for a producer.

Interesting to recall, Naga Chaitanya’s grandfather the legendary Nageshwara Rao has portrayed many legends on celluloid and father Nagarjuna had portrayed the roles of saints like Annamayya and Sri Rama Dasu on celluloid.
