Naga Chaitanya's most crucial day

  • IndiaGlitz, [Wednesday,May 24 2017]

May 26 is going to be a crucial day in Naga Chaitanya's career. For a hero of his standing, it's surprising that he is doing his first full-on commercial film (well, by his own admission) nearly nine years after he debuted with 'Josh'.

When Chay debuted, Kalyan Krishna, the director of 'Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam' was just out of college or something. Cut to 2016, he not only delivered a super hit with Nagarjuna ('Soggade Chinni Nayana'), but also was entrusted with the task of delivering a pucca commercial hit for the latter's son.

Nag is betting high (not in terms of money) on 'RVC'. So also Chay, who is on the cusp of endearing himself to those sections of audiences he has hitherto not reached out to.

This Friday, it will be clear whether the pet project of the Akkinenis will change the direction of Chay's career. Fanboys out there believe it will. After all, Nag has promised them a blockbuster. Watch this space..
