Naga Chaitanya is eagerly waiting for the theatrical release of 'Bangarraju' this Friday (January 14). Directed by Kalyan Krishna, it stars Akkineni Nagarjuna and Chay as grandfather and grandson, respectively.
In his latest interview, the 'Love Story' actor has spoken about his upcoming movies. He said that nothing has been finalized as yet with respect to a rumoured project with 'Naandhi' director Vijay Kanakamedala. Vikram Kumar-directed 'Thank You' has completed 85% of its shoot. The pending portions will be completed by mid-February and its release date decided later.
As for commencing the production works of his OTT debut, Chay said that it will go on the floors soon. "It's a horror web series. It might be released on Amazon Prime this year itself," he added. The series is directed by Vikram Kumar.
'Laal Singh Chaddha' in Hindi is his other upcoming movie this year. It is headlined by Aamir Khan.
What about the film with Parasuram Petla of 'Geetha Govindam' fame? "It will happen after he completes Mahesh Babu garu's movie (read 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata')," the actor said. The project was launched in 2019 but it was postponed indefinitely.
