“If Samantha is happy, I am happy,” Naga Chaitanya comments on his separation for the first time!

Naga Chaitanya announced separation from Samantha Ruth Prabhu in a joint statement in October 2021. The actor has now opened up on his divorce for the first time during a recent event after the end of his nearly four-year-long marriage.

During a media interaction for promotions of his film Bangarraju, Naga Chaitanya addressed his recent personal life events. When asked how he overcame the tough times in his personal life recently, the popular hero answered, “My entire family stood by me during those difficult times. It was a decision made for the good of both of us. If she (Samantha) is happy, I am happy. That was the best decision in that situation. Both of us are doing well professionally too.”

Naga Chaitanya will be seen next in Bangarraju alongside his father-actor Nagarjuna Akkineni, Ramya Krishnan, and Krithi Shetty. The film has been directed by Kalyan Krishna Kurasala. He also has Laal Singh Chaddha which is scheduled to hit the theatres on April 14 this year. The film also features Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Mona Singh.
