Ahead of the MAA elections, Naga Babu has criticized Mohan Babu for suggesting that the MAA doesn't have a building of its own because of him.
In his statement, the Mega Brother said, "Some people are trying to create a controversy. I was the MAA President in 2006 and 2007. At that time, a building was brought for the MAA. It was sold off. Recently, a Zoom meeting was held among MAA members. Mohan Babu garu, during the meet, criticized the buying and selling off of the building without taking my name. While he has the right to criticize anyone, why didn't he rake up the issue back then? Why did he raise the issue after all these years? Is it because his son is contesting the MAA elections this time?"
Naga Babu said that he doesn't need to fear anyone because he is honest. "I have stayed away from MAA's activities after 2008," the Mega Brother added, saying that Shivaji Raja and VK Naresh should know why the MAA building was sold away when they were at the helm.
"If I am provoked further, I will be uncontrollable," Naga Babu added. "I am not the one who is answerable to the sale of a property which would have been Rs 1.5 Cr or so today. It was sold for Rs 30 lakh," he said.
Naga Babu said that he is supporting Prakash Raj for President this time. "He is not only experienced but is also like an activist. He knows people. I like his ideology. First, they raised the issue of his nativity. The Telugu people are broad-minded people. We never discriminate on the basis of language. We have watched good actors from all languages," Naga Babu said.
