Naga Babu has sided with Prakash Raj ahead of the MAA elections. The Mega Brother, in a video statement, said that Manchu Vishnu doesn't deserve to man the MAA.

"Prakash Raj comes with no background and has made his mark across film industries. If Manchu Vishnu has acted in 25 movies, there are occasions when Prakash Raj acted in 25 movies just in Telugu in one year. As someone who moved from pillar to post to bag offers before he received recognition, I think Prakash Raj knows better what the artists need. Vishnu has no achievements. His father's achievements are not his," Naga Babu said.
In his statement, Naga Babu alleged that a star director like YVS Chowdhary had no resort when Mohan Babu targeted him over the film 'Salim'. "If YVS couldn't withstand Mohan Babu, where do small fish stand a chance?" he asked.
Naga Babu's statements suggest that the Mega camp is firm with Prakash Raj. "To call Prakash Raj non-local is absurd. He is a member of MAA and has acted in Telugu movies. That makes him eligible to contest. He who is a member and has a voting right has the right to contest. That's democracy," Naga Babu said.
