Naga Babu Condemns News Of Him & Pawan Kalyan Joining TDP

  • IndiaGlitz, [Thursday,October 24 2013]

Thrashing the news making rounds in the media, especially in the social networking sites that Naga Babu and Pawan Kalyan are contemplating joining the Telugu Desam Party and will campaign the party in the forthcoming elections, Naga Babu issued a statement thru the press release that the news are wrong and baseless and both he and his younger brother Pawan Kalyan are busy and happy with their acting profession. Requested the media to refrain from spreading this kind of news without consulting and confirming them and also the fans and public at large to appreciate their inability to embrace politics as of now.

Ever since Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Attarintiki Daredi’ was released and turned out to be a huge success, the euphoria among the fans has touched new peaks and anything and everything about the star has been seen with a tinted glass. First there were rumors that he was joining the YSRCP and then the TDP. There were even posters and flexis of both the parties in the interiors of the state featuring the star. This looks like a Deja vu with what happened with the Mega Star Chiranjeevi’s heydays as well. While brother Naga Babu’s statement might curtail the rumors being spread, it cannot stop the Power Star’s fans from chanting his name and wanting him to take a stand in the politics, given the star’s off screen persona.
