Nagarjuna had always been disinterested when it came to the Sai Baba of Shirdi. Suddenly and quite inexplicably, he was drawn to Him. "I felt like going on a pilgrimage to Shirdi. After I came back, K Raghavendra Rao garu happened to narrate the story. I was thoroughly inspired as well as surprised by the divine co-incidence," the actor says.

From what he says, it seems that the film always had the blessings of the Divine. There appeared an idol of Sai in his home! "Nobody could explain who brought it and put it there," he says.

Terming KRR as his guru, Nag continues to describe the film as universal in the sense it is for everyone and not just for Sai's staunch devotees. Quite pleasantly, shooting for the film went without any major hiccups. "Some or the other unpleasant thing happens for me while shooting for a film. This was an exception. Nothing unwarranted happened on any day," he beams.
