Nag joins a superhero fantasy film

Akkineni Nagarjuna has reportedly signed up to do 'Brahmastra', the Hindi-language superhero fantasy flick directed by Ayan Mukerji. Starring Amitabh Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor in key roles, this one is currently being shot in Mumbai.

It's reported that the 'Raju Gari Gadhi-2' and 'Officer' actor is already on board to shoot for his 'Brahmastra' portions. Also starring Alia Bhatt, the film will hit the screens on August 15, 2019.

The actor had a notable stint with Bollywood in the 1990s. He did the 1992 epic drama 'Khuda Gawah' with Amitabh and Sridevi. 'Drohi', 'Criminal', Ajay Devgn’s 'Zakhm', 'Angaaray' and 'LOC Kargil' were some of his other Bollywood releases.

The evergreen actor is currently working with Nani and director Sriram Aditya for 'Devdas'. This one is a September release.
