Akkineni Nagarjuna announced that his recent big blockbuster, Soggade Chinni Nayana will have a sequel, Bangarraju and Naga Chaitanya could be part of it, some time ago. He did Devdas, Officer and Manmadhudu-2 films but he did not announce the sequel or take it shooting spot till now.

Fans thought after Wild Dog, he will take up Bangarraju and even the news reports from many outlets and sources have also indicated that to be the way Nagarjuna will go forward.

But the actor is said to be doing a film with Praveen Sattaru and then, the news about his shelved film with Dhanush has also come out. He may complete these two and then only think about Bangarraju.

They wonder why he isn't going for that movie and what is holding him back. May be writer-director of original, Kalyan Krishna is not too convinced with the script of the sequel yet or Nag might want to give a box office momentum before he take up this sequel as Manmadhudu-2 and Officer have been Biggest disasters of his career alike his earlier films - Aranyakanda, Captain Nagarjuna.
