Recently, the makers of 'Project K' invited applications for chemical engineers. The project was announced two years ago. It can be noted that, to this day, director Nag Ashwin is still recruiting new technicians and crew members.
In a recent interaction, the 'Mahanati' director explained why it is taking so long to carry out production. "Our film is definitely a completely new film in terms of production design as well as the script. In a way, it is taking a lot of time just to think about how to do the film. Things have been created from scratch. The vehicles, the sets have been built anew," he said.
"Even vehicles have been created. We can't borrow stuff on rent like we did in the case of 'Mahanati'. Everything has to be brought into existence for the first time," he added.
Starring Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Disha Patani, and others, the film will hit the screens in early 2024.
