It's known that hundreds of junior doctors have complained about the state of affairs at the famous Gandhi Hospital in Hyderabad. At Telangana's biggest Covid-19 isolation centre, facilities are pathetic and transparency is abysmal.
Plugging the video clip of a female junior doctor exposing the condition at the hospital, 'Mahanati' director Nag Ashwin took to Twitter and said, "Gandhi Hospital needs the sort of attention and funds that Hi-Tech city gets. Almost 100 days after Covid started, doctors are on the road in the rain, begging for help! PG fees increased this year!! Not fair! Testing testing..how much longer will we deny this?" The director tagged Telangana Health Minister Eatala Rajender in the tweet.
'Toli Prema' and 'Most Eligible Bachelor' director Venky Atluri said, "We should respect and support our frontline warriors. I hope the concerned officials protect the Doctors and allocate them a safe workplace." He used #SaveDoctorsSavesociety to drive home his point.
Quoting Venky's tweet, 'Gaddalakonda Ganesh' director Harish Shankar wrote, "Need of the hour!!!!"
The doctors have been raising the issue of lack of proper facilities, including ICU beds, at the hospital.
