Nagarjunas film 'Sri Ramadasu' has just won the State Governments Nandi award for the year 2006. While he received the Best Actor award, it also won the award as the Best Home Viewing Film and its makeup man Ramachandra Rao got the Best Makeup award for the same.
So, the films producer Konda Krishnam Raju decided to release the film in Hindi and Tamil. He said that since a few corporates too were interested in supporting the film, he would soon release the film in Bhojpuri and various other Indian languages.
It is a well-known fact that despite his short stint in Hindi, Nagarjuna is well acquainted to the Hindi audience. Hence, the release would benefit the film, feels the producer.
