Shaji Kailas will start calling the shots of his remake of ‘Naduvazhikal’ from this September. Featuring Prithviraj in the role that Mohanlal portrayed in the original, the pooja of the movie was held a couple of days ago at Mascot Hotel in the capital city.

Produced by S Chandrakumar of Malavika Productions, the movie is expected to give a big leap in the career of young star who is already into superstardom in Mollywood.

The original scripted by S N Swamy and directed by Joshy was a movie which gave Mohanlal the charisma of a mass action hero, who also cracks jokes and romances a mystery girl. Prithvi who has already proved himself in serious action roles and romantic characters will try a bit of lighter sequences, which may help him to end up as an all rounder.
