10 years after their superhit Naadodigal, actor Sasikumar and director Samuthirakani are back with a soul sequel to the movie, Nadodigal 2 which has retained Bharani alone from the cast alongside Sasikumar and comes with a fresh cast including Anjali and Athulya Ravi.

The trailer of the movie has been released, and it presents Sasikumar in a fierce, revolutionary avatar as a youngster looking to bring a change or take the first step towards a change for the future. Anjali who plays his pair is also seen supporting him in his movements, and Bharani and Athulya as the other pair are seen constantly with Sasikumar in his revolution. After dealing with friends coming together for love, this time the friends have joined hands to present student unity, the politics among them and the clash with politicians and Sasikumar leading from the front with his friends to succeed.

Naadodigal 2 has music by Justin Prabhakaran, cinematography by Ekambaram and Art direction by Jackie, and the movie also stars Namo Narayanan, Gnanasambandham, Thulasi and Sri Ranjani. Produced by Madras Enterprises, Naadodigal 2 releases worldwide on January 31.
