Actor-filmmaker Nadirsha is teaming up with Jayasurya for an upcoming movie titled 'Eesho'. Ever since the movie was announced, its title had sparked controversies. A day ago, Nadirsha unveiled a brand new poster of the movie and clarified that he has no plans to change the title of 'Eesho'. He further added that the title refers to the name of a character and not Lord Jesus.

“The second motion poster of the movie 'Eesho' will be released on Wednesday (04-08-2021) at 6.00 pm. This movie has nothing to do with Jesus, son of God, whom I respect a lot. This is just the name of a character. So, we have decided to add a tagline - ‘not from bible’, considering that the title has caused distress to a few of my dear brothers from the Christian community. As an artist who has a lot of friends believing in different religions and is willing to respect all religions equally, I am not uncultured to hurt anyone. After the release of 'Keshu Ee Veedinte Nathan' and 'Eesho', I am ready for any punishment you may inflict if any religious sentiment is hurt in that film. Until then please excuse me. I am willing to face any penalty if it hurts religious sentiments, after the release of my films ‘Kesu Ee Veedinte Nadhan’ and ‘Eesho’. Until then please excuse me,” Nadhirshah wrote in his Malayam post.

Touted to be a thriller, the movie is helmed by Nadirshah, who is also on board as the composer for the movie. Actor Jafer Idduki will be seen in an important role in the film. Eesho has its story, dialogues, and script by Suneesh varanad. Although Nadirshah will be composing the songs, Jakes Bejoy will be taking care of the background music for the project. Nadirshah, who made his directorial debut with the 2015 Malayalam film Amar Akbar Anthony, is also currently working on the upcoming Malayalam movie 'Keshu Ee Veedinte Nadhan,' featuring Dileep and Urvashi in the lead.
