The audio launch of Eshaan Productions` Meen Kuzhambum Mann Panaiyum` starring Kalidas Jayaram, Ashna Zaveri , Prabhu and Pooja Kumar happened a few days back and innumerable celebrities attended the function to felicitate Prabhu for achieving the landmark of 200 films.

Speaking on the occasion veteran director C.V. Rajendhran who introduced Prabhu in Sangili`, revealed that he had requested Sivaji several times to let Prabhu act in a film, but the thespian refused, saying that he wanted his son to study well and become a police officer. Later Rajendhran had convinced the Nadigar Thilagam that Prabhu do one film and then go study whatever he wanted and that is how Sangili` happened and Prabhu later became one of the most sought after heroes in Tamil cinema who still has a special place among fans as a loveable character artiste.
