The Immortal legend Nadigar Thilagam Sivaji Ganesan`s masterpiece Veerapandiya Kattabomman` is all set to hit the screens worldwide on the 31st of July in a digitally enhanced version. The film is based on the courageous Kattabomman one of the first Indian rulers to take the fight against the Britishers sixty years before the Independence struggle.

Veerapandiya Kattabomman` was directed by B.R.Banthulu and stars Gemini Ganesan, Padmini, S.Varalakshmi, O.A.K. Devar, Javar Seetharaman and V.K.Ramasamy as the unforgettable Yettappan. Music is by G. Ramanathan, cinematography by W.R. Subbarao and Karnan, editing by R.Devarajan and produced by B.R. Banthulu`s Padmini Pictures.
