The Nadigar Sangam had conducted its executive council meeting yesterday, and an important decision had been taken, which was announced by actor Nasser. The tenure of the team heading Nadigar Sangam had ended last October, and the election was pushed by 6 months due to Nadigar Sangam building works.

Following the executive council meeting, Nasser, the former president of Nadigar Sangam announced that it was decided in the meeting that retired judge Padmanabhan will be the election commissioner for the next election, and that he will be requested to take charge. Nasser also said that there are three venues in mind and Padmanabhan will decided on the venue.

While the same team of Nasser, Vishal and Karthi will be contesting elections for the post of President, Secretary and Treasurer respectively, it has been announced that actor Udhaya, who had been supporting Vishal last elections, will contest against Vishal for the post of general secretary this time.
