Nadigar Sangam's request to Election heroes

In the historic TN Assembly Elections Kollywood was represented by Vijayakanth, Sarathkumar, Karunaas, Vagai Chandrasekhar and C.R. Saraswathy but the two action heroes and the experienced Saraswathy met with defeat. People rewarded the longtime DMK loyalist Chandrasekhar and the rank newcomer to politics Karunaas with victory.

The Nadigar Sangam in their congratulatory statement to Karunaas and Chandrasekhar have recalled that legends MGR and SSR have been one of the first members of the Sangam to be elected by the people in the past and following the tradition requested the two new elects to fulfill their duties to the people and bring pride to the fraternity.
