High Court dismisses Important case against Nadigar Sangam building

The Nadigar Sangam is situated in the heart of Chennai city near the Valluvar Kottam and the incumbent office bearers Vishal, Karthi, Nasser, Ponvannan and Karunaas belonging to the Pandavar Ani promised to build a new complex with movie theaters, marriage hall and other facilities. The foundation stone was laid by Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth on March 31st 2017 and the construction began.
One Sriram and other residents of the Habibullah Road area had filed a case in the court that the Nadigar Sangam building has been built by encroaching a public road. The case came up for final hearing today by a division bench of the Madras High Court and the judges dismissed the writ petition citing that there is no proof for a road ever having existed in the premises. This case which was a major roadblock to the progression of the building has been removed and the members of the association have expressed their happiness over the order.
