The Dhanush-Selvaraghavan combo is one of the most electrifying ever in Tamil cinema who have given memorable films such as 'Thulluvadho Ilamai', 'Kadhal Kondein', 'Pudhupettai', 'Mayakkam Enna' and 'Yaaradi Nee Mohini'. Their reunion for the sixth time drove their fans to ecstasy.

On January 14th, the title and first look poster 'Naane Varuven' was unveiled which featured Dhanush stylishly smoking a cigar while a house is burning in the background. Fans couldn't stop celebrating the pucca mass posters.

A few days back Selva revealed that he has finished writing a script and also shared photos of his team and added that the script reading is in progress. There were speculations as to which project the master storyteller was referring to.
 

Now the answer has come as Kalaipuli S Thanu has officially announced that 'Naane Varuven' will go on floors on August 20th with a photo that shows Selvaraghavan explaining a shot to cinematographer Arvind Krishna. The film has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
