The duet is a melody that belabours to be an ultra-melody. Sricharan Pakala's earnest tuning is soothing but it could have been original, too. Karunya brings a 2000s-era charm to the song with his unique voice. Haripriya's mellifluous voice is a plus. Sree Mani's lyrics lay the foundation for a strong romantic feel.

The protagonist is a brutalized undertrial prisoner in the movie and this song captures his inner transformation, where he channels his range for self-redemption. Chaitanya Prasad's lyrics are straight out of the book of an enraged rebel. It's fitting that Vijay Prakash has crooned an effective song that has integrity and intensity all over. The music is adequate, although there are flashes of been-there-done-that kind of 'raga'.
