'Naanayam' joins Pongal race

A surprise entrant to Pongal race is 'Naanayam'. The film produced by S P B Charan with Prasanna and Sibiraj in lead roles will hit the screens this harvest festival.
Bagging a U/A, the film is based on a bank robbery. This one is directed by Sakthi K Rajan, a former associate of Mysskin. Sibiraj ventures to do the role of a baddie in the movie, for the first time in his career. James Vasanthan has scored the music.
Naanayam is a sequence of events that take place before and after a huge bank in Chennai is robbed. It has thrilling moments, says the director.
Prasanna says, I thank my costume designer Vasuki Bhaskar for giving me an image make-over with trendy costumes.
